Ticket Information

  • May 25 - July 17 - Pre-sale of select mezzanine and loge seats to new students attending orientation and current Texas A&M summer school students.
  • June 1 - July 10 - Pre-sale of premium floor, riser, and mezzanine seats to First Yell and Yell Leader endowment donors.  Anyone wishing to become a donor and purchase tickets through this process must complete the attached form and return to the address listed or call the 12th Man Foundation Box Office at (888) 99-AGGIE
  • July 27 - Official public on sale date.  All remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public.  Tickets will be available in person at the Kyle Field or Reed Arena box office, on line at 12thmanfoundation.com or by phone at (888) 99-AGGIE

History

First Yell was started by the Yell Leaders in 1999 as a way of welcoming all Aggies, current and former students, back to campus to begin a new school year. First Yell occurs on the weekend of the first home football game and includes several different events:

  • Midnight Yell Practice - the first Midnight Yell Practice of the new football season.
  • Aggie Football - the Aggies beat the hell outta whoever we are playing that week!

The featured event of the weekend occurs on Friday night before Midnight Yell Practice. The Yell Leaders host a major performance in Reed Arena, which features the best student talent on campus, as well as a world class entertainer. Student performers at First Yell have included the Singing Cadets, Aggie Wranglers, Percussion Studio, and Fruedian Slip. The major entertainers have been:
