Meet The Yell Leaders
Jake Carter '25
Head Yell Leader
Howdy! I am a senior management major from San Antonio, TX and a member of the Corps of Cadets in Company E-1. As a first-generation Aggie, I came to Texas A&M after my dad, who, despite being a t-sip, encouraged my twin sister and me to attend. I quickly immersed myself in the rich culture and traditions that thrive at the heart of this university. My passion for service grew after my dad’s unfortunate passing due to cancer. His passing awakened in me the realization that tomorrow is not guaranteed, which fueled my mission of living a life of humble service. Carrying out that mission by serving the finest community in the world, the 12th Man, is an incredible honor and joy! Leading and serving alongside four exceptional men brings me immense joy and a profound sense of responsibility, one that I deeply cherish and do not take lightly. We will continue to foster the Spirit of Aggieland and leave behind a meaningful legacy that builds upon the core values that make this university more than an institution but an enduring legacy.

Howdy! I am a senior civil engineering major from Marble Falls, TX and a member of the Corps of Cadets in Company E-2. I have been a diehard Aggie for as long as I can remember, but finally calling Texas A&M home has been a dream come true. I am a second-generation Aggie, but the first in my family to join the Corps. This has given me a unique perspective on the spirit and tradition of Texas A&M. Additionally, having the opportunity to serve as Mascot Corporal and take care of Miss Rev during my sophomore year gave me the chance to meet Aggies from all corners of campus. I want nothing more than to share my love and passion for this great university with everyone I meet. At the end of the day, we are all Aggies and everyone has a place in Aggieland. By forming relationships and being genuine in every interaction I have, I hope to help people find their homes here, as I have.

Howdy! I am a senior industrial distribution major from Austin, TX and a member of the Corps of Cadets in Company L-1. Despite growing up in enemy territory, I come from a family of Aggies and I’ve been drinking the maroon Kool-Aid my whole life. So naturally, becoming an Aggie myself was a dream come true. In my time here, I quickly learned that Texas A&M is a unique and special place and is worth giving back to because of all it has given me. To serve as a Yell Leader is an incredible honor, and I want to be the first to welcome you into the Aggie family, which has been such a blessing to me — a family steeped in tradition and grounded in core values.

Howdy! I am a junior communication major from Odessa, TX and a member of the Corps of Cadets in Squadron 5. As a first-generation Aggie, I had the opportunity to experience the power of the 12th Man and the Aggie Spirit during my first trip to Aggieland when I got to watch the Aggie football team BTHO Kent State. From that moment, I knew the Lord was calling me to one thing: to be a Fightin’ Texas Aggie. In my time at Texas A&M, I have experienced firsthand the Aggie Family and the spirit that can ne’er be told through the most vital traditions of Silver Taps, Bonfire Remembrance and Aggie Muster. There is no other university in the world that serves its students with the same dedication and urgency as Texas A&M. To be an Aggie is a blessing and one that I do not take lightly. In the last two years, I have had the opportunity to serve in many capacities to ensure that these traditions and the Aggie Spirit never die. That being said, I have had nothing comparable to the privilege of serving alongside these four men as your Aggie Yell Leaders. I am beyond excited to live out this dream, and I can promise that you will get nothing but maximum effort from this group in service to this university and the traditions we hold so dear.

Howdy! I am a junior economics major from Cincinnati, OH and a member of the Corps of Cadets in Company E-2. As a second-generation Aggie, I have been blessed to experience the Spirit of Aggieland through my parents, family and friends, even while living in Texas, Arkansas and Ohio. From a young age, I saw how important being an Aggie was in the lives of those closest to me and after coming to Texas A&M, it was clear that Aggieland is not just a university but a family. Since arriving on campus, I’ve been passionate about sharing the Spirit of Aggieland with all members of the Aggie family, just as it was shared with me. This spirit fuels the traditions that define our university, such as Silver Taps and Aggie Muster. It is a huge privilege and responsibility to have the platform as a Yell Leader alongside these four God-fearing men to carry out this passion. I am excited to serve and give back to the best student body in the world, the 12th Man!
